kay frank spring 2014

I stumbled across this Brooklyn-based designer and illustrator the other day. I love the minimal yet highly detailed and thoughtful design of her Spring 2014 line. I think my favorite piece is the sheer trowsers; The way the extra-length gathers at the ankle, all billowy and effortless, is just perfect. That Saturns-ring shoulder piece is pretty cool, too. Maybe a little avant-garde, but I would sacrifice limited range of motion to make a kick-a** statement.
